The Complete Intro to Flight

Do you or someone you know LOVE airplanes? Have you thought of taking an introductory flight, but wanted more than the typical 30-minute experience? Bellingham Aviation Services is pleased to announce its new program called, “The Complete Intro to Flight.”

This special includes:

  • 1.5 hours of simulator instruction using our Advanced Aviation Training Device.
  • 1 hour of flight instruction in a Cessna 172.
  • 3 hours of total instruction, including flight/simulator/ground.
  • 1 logbook to document your training experience.

The Complete Intro to Flight costs $323.95 + tax.

Museum of Flight Lesson for 2

This BAS special is not just a flight lesson: it’s a Museum of Flight Lesson. And for 2 people.

This special includes:

  • Up to 1.8 hours of flight time in N82TT, our high-performance, retractable gear, 180+ mph time machine.
  • 3 hours of combined instruction, both flight and ground.
  • Museum of Flight admission for 2.
  • Soup and Sandwich Lunch for 2.
  • 2 logbooks to document your flight training experience.

Learn about aircraft by performing a thorough pre-flight inspection. Carefully maneuver the plane during taxi at Bellingham International and Boeing Field airports. Follow along on the controls during takeoff and landing. Take the controls of a 180 mph plane and get a feel for how learning to fly can change your life. Interact with Air Traffic Control. Navigate your way into complex airspace. Participate in “challenge and response” checklist execution. Follow along on the controls during landing. One student will fly to BFI while the other observes. Then for the return, students will swap seats. Do you have a friend, spouse, or child interested in aviation? This special could be a fantastic gift or terrific reward for a special achievement: an experience that you can share too.

The Museum of Flight Lesson for 2 costs $533.40 + tax.

Fly North of the 49th Parallel

Have you ever wanted to fly to Canada? Does the prospect of navigating the regulatory requirements cause you anxiety? We can help. N82TT is equipped and approved for flight into Canada. We can customize a flight lesson that covers areas including flight planning, eAPIS filing, CanPass and U.S. Customs calls, differences in communication and regulation, and more. The flight will typically include a stop at a Canadian Port of Entry as well as a flight to a second airport in Canada, followed by a return to the U.S.A. and clearing U.S. Customs upon arrival back in the States.
