BAS Enhances Flight Package Offerings

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Bellingham, WA- November 2, 2011- Bellingham Aviation Services is proud to expand current flight specials to include The Complete Intro to Flight, the Museum Flight Lesson for Two and the Fly North of the 49th Parallel packages.

The Complete Intro to Flight is the ideal package for someone looking to get their first experience in a plane. This package is more than your typical introductory flight because it includes 1 hour of ground instruction, 1.5 hours of simulator instruction and 1 hour of flight instruction in a Cessna 172, totaling over three hours of total instruction. Students will also receive a complimentary logbook to document first training experiences.

The Museum of Flight Lesson for 2 goes above and beyond your average flight experience and it enables you to share the experience with a friend or loved one and acquire up to 3 hours of combined instruction. You will learn about the aircraft with ground instruction, carefully maneuver the plane during taxi and ultimately, take the controls of a 180 mph plane to get a feel for flying. The special includes up to 1.8 hours of flight time in a high performance Trinidad TB20, admissions to the Museum of Flight for two, lunch for two and individual logbooks to document your flight training experience.

And finally, Fly North of the 49th Parallel enables pilots the ability to experience Canada by air, without the hassle of navigating regulatory requirements and customs. BAS will help in customizing a flight lesson in the N82TT, which is equipped and approved to fly into Canada. BAS will cover topics including flight planning, eAPIS filing, CanPass and U.S. Customs calls.

“Whether getting in a plane for the first time or traveling between countries, BAS is excited to assist you throughout your aviation journey,” said Vanessa Nielsen, President of BAS. “We hope these flight packages will help generate renewed interest and excitement for the aviation industry.”

Flight Packages are available immediately. Please contact BAS directly for information on availability.
