New Full-Service Operation at BLI, Washington

Bellingham, Wash. January 1, 2004 - Bellingham Aviation Services, your Full Service Fixed Base Operation (FBO), is now open at Bellingham International Airport. Located 20 miles South of the Canadian Border off I-5, 50 miles South of Vancouver, B.C. and 90 miles North of Seattle. Your gateway to the San Juan Islands, Mount Baker and all the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Bellingham Aviation Services offers full line services, crew car, pilots lounge, showers, rest area, customs clearance and flight planning area. Our recent upgrades include a turbine maintenance shop for repairs and inspections and hangar space to accommodate any short or long term needs. A part 145 avionics sales &service center is in the works with an expected completion date early this summer.

Bellingham Aviation Services emphasizes the highest level of customer service that aircraft owners &operators deserve. We recognize that the highest level of customer service is the key to sustaining and building our business. Commitment to customer service, experience in corporate and general aviation, and the comprehensive scope of BAS's proposal were deciding factors in BAS's selection when the Port of Bellingham called for proposals earlier this year.

Chosen as the successful respondent to the Port's RFP, Bellingham Aviation Services (BAS) has signed leases with the Port for use of the current General Aviation terminal and the aircraft fueling facilities. BAS has also secured 10,000 square feet of interim commercial hangar space at the airport to house its maintenance and avionics shops in addition to 34,000 of available hangar space for rent. BAS's long-range plan includes construction of a 25,000 square foot facility that will include the maintenance/avionics operations as well as customer service and administration plus space for a possible airport café.
