Bellingham Jet Center Awarded Maintenance Contract for Alaska Airlines
Bellingham, Wash. May 27, 2009 - Bellingham Aviation Services (BAS), the premier aircraft service provider in Northwestern Washington State, awarded Maintenance contract for Alaska Airlines.
Bellingham Jet Center, Maintenance and Avionics division for Bellingham Aviation Services, was successful in securing the part 135 maintenance contract for Alaska Airlines’ Boeing 737 aircraft and commencing with their first flight on the 25th June, 2009.
“We are excited about the opportunities with Alaska Airlines” stated Jason Kloster, A &P mechanic for BAS. “We have already had a training session with the Alaska Air group and they will be conducting an audit of our facilities in the next weeks. Everyone that I have had the pleasure to talk with or work with in the Alaska Airline network, including Horizon Airlines, has been great to work with and we look forward to working with them.”
