Bellingham Aviation Services Offers New Course
Bellingham, Wash., April 28, 2010 - Bellingham Aviation Services has expanded the training options it offers with a new instrument ground school.
Six local private pilots have started the coursework, which teaches them to safely operate aircraft in clouds, when visibility is limited.
Most of the class had previous training at Bellingham Aviation Services.
"We are excited to have such a great group of pilots," said Jeff Eriksen, chief flight instructor at BAS. "These six are driven to improve their skills through continued learning, and their commitment to safety sets a great example to all pilots."
Bellingham Aviation Services is a full-service, fixed-based operation. It offers a wide range of services ranging from aircraft maintenance and avionics to flight lessons and charters. It also is the home of the Bellingham Jet Center. For more information, see bli-jet.com.
